The Cypress Historical Society will award (2) CFISD graduating seniors $1,000 each to students interested in History, Social Sciences, Library Science, or Education. Howard University will be here today during all lunches. Howard offers programs in medicine, communications and journalism for all students regardless of race, gender, or religion. The Frontier Fiesta Scholarship is available for graduating seniors who will be attending The University of Houston. The award is $1,000 and recipients are selected on the basis of leadership and academics. Increase your chances of winning by applying early! The Thurgood Marshall Foundation and Department of Defense scholarship is for students who are planning to major in STEM related fields. This $25,000 award includes summer internship at one of the DoD laboratories.
