Scholarships •The Healthcare Administration & Management Scholarship is open to seniors who are planning to major in healthcare management or other related fields of study. The award is $1,500 and the deadline to apply is May 15th. •The 2016 Don’t Mess with Texas Scholarship Contest will award up to $8,000 in scholarships to graduating high school senior who has taken a leadership role in preventing litter in your school or community. The deadline to apply for this award is March 26th. •Texas Big Game Awards is open to Ag students in grades 10-12. Up to $3,000 will be awarded to qualified applicant. Application deadline is March 31st. •The Alphonso Deal Scholarship Award is open to graduating seniors who are planning to study Criminal Justice or other related fields. The award amount varies and the deadline to apply is May 20th. •The Asian Pacific American Heritage Association has multiple scholarship opportunities available for graduating high school seniors who are Asian American or Pacific Island descent. Emphasis is placed on academic and leadership. The deadline to submit your application is March 29th.

Athletics Update

Girls Soccer- We will play Varsity only on Friday at the Berry Center at 4:00pm. comeout and watch our girls on their way to a district championship. Boys Soccer- We will play Varsity only on Saturday at the Berry center at 8:00pm. Softball tournament- This weekend's tournament is canceled for Saturday. We have rescheduled this tournament for Saturday, April 2, 2016.

On Wedneday during all lunches, H.E.A.T. Squad will be hosting a dunk contest in the courtyard! Each dunk will cost $1 that will be donated to a primate rehabilitation center in San Antonio! Get out and get HEATed!!

MSA

MSA will be hosting a drive for Syria all this week! We are accepting many different items such as gently used winter clothing, which can include gloves and hats! We are also collecting toiletry item such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and shampoo. Boxes will be placed throughout the school, so please help us out by donating an item or two to those who are less fortunate than us-they really need our help!
