With Super Bowl Sunday coming up, Cy Woods is taking part in a SOUPer Bowl of Caring food drive. Bring items such as jelly, boxed cereal, rice, and soup cans to boxes around the school set up by the cafeteria, library, auditorium, and athletics hallways. The collection will be going on from January 24th to February 2nd, and we will be announcing our total at the boys home soccer game on February 2nd. We are SOUPer exciter to help our community!

Scholarship News
Attention Senior Ladies: The Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum Scholarship application is due this Friday. This $1,000.00 scholarship is for senior women who have participated in community service while in high school. If you would like an application, stop by the College and Career Office and see Mrs. England.
Are you planning to pursue a degree in music, theater, or dance? The Performing Arts council of North Houston Scholarship will award $1,000.00 for students to use toward a degree in performing arts. Applications are in the College and Career Office.
The January Scholarship bulletin is now available in the counseling office or online at the Cypress Woods College and career site. See Mrs. England, the College and Career Specialist if you have any questions.

Balfour on Campus
Balfour will be here for orders of graduation supplies this week on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 11th and 12th during the lunch periods. This will be the final date for orders taken on campus. Remember to see the Balfour representatives to place your order or ask any questions. Extra packets are available at the front desk.
Softball Tryouts
Softball tryouts will be January 19th from 3:00-7:00 and January 20th from 9:00-1:00 for all girls interested in playing softball. You must pick up a packet from the trainers and have a physical and all paperwork turned in before tryouts. There is a sign-up sheet on the door of room 3006. If you have any questions, see Coach Bond or Coach Wilson.
Baseball Tryouts
Baseball tryouts will be held January 26th and January 27th. Please pick up a try-out form from Coach Pridgeon in room 2318. Forms must be completed and returned before January 24th.
