Scholarships and College Events: Attention Seniors! If you are applying to a college or university which has a December 1st due date then, your transcript request must be submitted before Thanksgiving Break. Remember, official transcripts for most Texas schools are free. So, don’t delay! You’ve heard of the Texas two-step; Now, meet the “Texas Trio!” Seniors.., The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University and The University of Houston have teamed up to provide one last “Information Session” before the December 1st application deadline. This is your chance to ask lingering questions about their university, the application process and other general university information. This “ONE-TIME” event will take place at The Berry Center on Thursday, November 12th at 6:00pm. Mark your calendar!!! Don’t forget to take advantage of these scholarships which are still in full-swing: Comcast Leaders & Achievers ($5,000), Thurgood Marshall Department of Defense Scholarship ($25,000), The Chuck Hall Scholarship for bowlers ($6,000) and, the Texas Engineering Foundation Scholarship for Engineer Majors.
