AP Psychology Exam

Attention all Junior and Seniors taking the AP Psychology EXAM on Monday May 1st. On Monday after third period, ALL testers will report to A Lunch. At the conclusion of A Lunch, you will then report to the main gym where you will be hanging out on the bleachers until 11:30am when you will be led to the testing area. The AP psychology test will conclude between 2:30 and 3:00pm that afternoon. Today after school, Mr. Porter will be holding another practice test session for FALL AP Psychology students to help you better identify what you need to study over the weekend. Good Luck!

Seniors, are you attending Lone Star College in the fall? If so, the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation's online portal is now open for Schroeder Scholarship applications. Three $1500 scholarships are available. The award can be used at any LSC campus. Deadline to apply is Friday, May 12th. Stop by the scholarship office or check the hall bulletin for details! Exploring college options will be in the Houston area, May 15th, & 16th, for information sessions. Please visit www.exploringcollegeoptions.org for locations and times. Seniors, don't forget to request your final transcript. The"Blue Forms" are available thru your English teacher. Final transcripts will be sent the week after graduation! Students who have not purchased a cap and gown will have the opportunity to purchase cap/gowns on Thursday April 27th. Caps and gowns may also be purchased online at www.balfourgrad.com. The price of the cap and gown is $60. Caps and gowns will be worn for the panoramic photo Thursday April 27th and Senior Wildcats will be able to wear their cap and gown throughout the remainder of the school day if they choose to as a tribute to their hard work and success.

Theatre Company's Night for Nationals

Come out and support Cypress Woods Theatre Company in a special fundraising performance of Night for Nationals. The students participating in this event qualified in a theatrical event at Texas Thespian Festival & Competition and will be competing at the National Thespian Festival & Competition this summer in Lincoln, Nebraska. The lobby will have displays of all the technical theatrical designs that students qualified to Nationals with and the performance will consist of all the theatrical performances that students qualified to nationals with plus some extra surprise acts. All money from ticket sales and concessions will go to assist students with transportation costs. Night For Nationals is Saturday, April 22nd in the auditorium with a matinee performance at 2 PM and an evening performance at 7PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets will be available at the door and are already available online at www.showtix4u.com. See you there!
