Pearl Harbor Remembered
Today marks the 78th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. It
was on this day, December 7th in 1941, that the Japanese Navy began bombing
Pearl Harbor at 7:55 am, resulting in the deaths of 2,403 military personnel,
68 civilians, and wounding 1,178. In addition, 19 US Navy ships were destroyed,
including eight battleships. On December 8th, 1941, President Franklin Deleanor
Roosevelt and the 77th Congress of the United States declared war on the Axis
Powers.
Boy's Golf
If you are interested in trying out for the boy's golf team you need to contact Coach Neill by December 21st about tryout information. You will need to have the athletic physical and packet on file with the athletic trainers in order to tryout. Tryouts will be held on January 4th and 5th at Cypress Lakes golf course.
Volleyball
Cy Woods Volleyball continues in success and rewards for their hard work and achievements.
Our girls earned:

Congratulations to the Air Force JROTC Physical Training Team for their 2nd place finish at the Cy-Fair Drill Meet!!
Choir
Saturday, Region Choir Auditions took place virtually for the first time ever. Cy Woods Choir Program earned 22 places in the Region Choir! As well, 2 students were selected to advance to the Area Auditions in January with one student placing as an alternate to Area.
We are so proud of all of our singers for their hard work and dedication to the art of singing!
Hockey
Congratulations to the Varsity Hockey team on their 4-3 win over Fair Creek.
On Sunday, our wildcats tied with the San Antonio Jr. Rampage 2-2.
Great job Wildcats!!
