Scholarship News and Events


·         The United States Military Academy is an Information Meeting on Sunday, Dec. 21st at St. John’s School (Virginia Stullar Tatham Fine Arts Center- Brown Campus). Students and parents of all grade levels are encouraged to attend. You will have an opportunity to meet local West Point Admissions Field Force, Cadets, and learn how to navigate the West Point Admissions process and compete for an Appointment to West Point. RSVP is required to attend this event.


·        Duke University is accepting applications for its 2015 Summer College for High School Students (grades 10 &11) as well as their Summer Academy for High School Students (grades 9-12). Students are encouraged to apply early as spaces fill quickly!

·        The Jesse H Jones Scholarship application deadline is January 2, 2015.  Each student may receive up to $16,000. Transcript request must be completed by December 16, 2014. Do not let this opportunity pass you by!


·        ATTENTION Juniors!...The Linda Lorelle Online Scholarship Application is available 2014-2015 school year. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity! Amount of Award varies but, is sizeable enough to cover a major part of tuition cost and books at state colleges and universities. Transcript Request deadline: Feb. 20th. ·        Senior Women! The deadline for the Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Founding Members Scholarship is January 9th. Scholarships are $1,000 each and will be awarded in May, 2015. Award decisions are based on Community Service, Academic Performance and Financial Need.  Applications are available in the Registrar’s Office.


·       Cy-Fair Women’s Club Scholarship is open to seniors who reside in Cypress Fairbanks ISD boundaries and are graduating from any CFISD high school and plan to attend, on a full-time basis, an accredited two or four-year College, university or technical school.  Application are available in the Registrar’s Office.  All applications must be postmarked no later than January 30, 2015. 

Seniors, the U.S. Veteran’s Administration has college-funding available for any veteran dependent.  Why not take advantage of money that could cover your entire tuition.  Stop by the Registrar’s Office for more information.
