Wrestling
The Wrestling team is under new management with Coach Rice at the helm.
We will be holding open tryouts for anyone interested in joining the wrestling team this year. No wrestling experience is required.
It will be 8 days of tough workouts starting next Monday, October 5th from 2:50-4:20. If you make it through all 8, you are officially part of Cy Woods Wrestling. Make sure you have a physical on file and have filled out the online medical forms. The forms can be found on the Cy Woods wrestling website.

Testing
On Wednesday, October 14th, ON CAMPUS 9th grade College Academy and ALL 10th grade students will participate in PSAT testing. No registration is required. 11th grade students who would like to take the PSAT this year must register and pay through total registration by 11:59 pm on Friday, October 2nd. The link for registration and payment are on the Cy Woods website. Juniors who do not register for PSAT will take ASVAB instead. Quantities are limited; register today!

Volleyball
Volleyball had a program sweep against Cy Falls in their first District Match! Varsity defeated Cy Falls 25-13; 21-25; 25-16; 25-16! They extended their record to 7 and 1 and play Bridgeland this Friday at 5:30. We are so proud of these girls, keep up the hard work and 212 spirit!

Volleyball
Volleyball is on a roll: Varsity is 6 and 1! They defeated Klein Cane in four sets on Friday in a battle that was great to see!
Saturday was a dual match between Cy Woods, Cy Park and Jersey Village. We defeated Cy Park in three straight and did the same against a tough defensive team, Jersey Village, but defeated them both!
We will be home on Tuesday against Cy Falls at 5:30 and away for our first district match against Bridgeland on Friday! Keep up the hard work, you make Cy Woods #1.

They will play Klein Cain tomorrow her at Cy Woods at 4:30 and 5:30! Saturday Varsity will be at Jersey Village and playing them at 11:30 and Cy Park at 1:00! Voting
Yesterday was National Voter Registration Day.
Voter registration by the League of Women Voters of Cy-Fair will be taking place in all Government and Economics classes via video.
If you are a student that does not have a Government or Economics class in your schedule right now but you need to register to vote, go to our Registrar's Office for a mail-in, postage pre-paid voter registration application form. Staff can pick up a form there as well if needed. If you need help filling out the form, see Mrs. Stephanow in Rm 2111.
