Cypresss Woods High School Talent Show

Hey Wildcats! Do you play an instrument, sing, dance, rap, do slam poetry, or have a talent that you want to show off? Then sign up for our annual Cypress Woods High School Talent Show run by the theatre department. Auditions are this coming Wednesday, September 7th, at 5:30pm in the auditorium; the cast-rehearsals are next Thursday, September 8th from 2:45pm to 5:30p in the auditorium; and the performance will be next Thursday, September 8th, at 7pm in the auditorium. Scan the QR Code and then fill out the form with your phone by all water fountain locations in the school to sign up to audition. Break a leg!

Cy Woods Company Musical Revue Troupe

Hey Wildcats! The Visual Arts Department will host its 2nd annual Student Art Auction on Friday, May 20th, from 7pm-9pm. There will be approximately 500 works of art for sale with minimum bids starting as low as $5! Concessions will be available for all bidders. Bidders must be present at the end of the auction to win. It will be a cash only event. Come check out and buy some amazing student art to help promote the growth of our young Wildcat Artists! Friday May 20th! Mark your calendars!

Scholarships •The Edwin G. Schroeder Scholarship is available to graduating seniors who will be attending Lone Star College in the fall. This $1,500 award will cover most of your first year of your tuition, and the deadline to apply is Thursday, May 12th. •Seniors, the deadline to submit your scholarship information is Wednesday, May 11th. Please report all scholarships that you have been awarded regardless if you plan to accept them or not.

Alternate Bell Schedule/EOC Testing

Due to EOC testing, we will be on an alternate bell schedule May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Early release times and lunch times are impacted. Check the school website for details.

Hollywood @ the Woods Talent Showcase

Do you have talent? Singing, dancing, acting or whatever talent you may have and want to showcase, come and audition....Everyone is welcomed! Open auditions for "Hollywood @ the Woods" talent showcase are next Monday, May 2nd in RM 1173, Mrs. Salinas' room. Auditions are from 2:45-4:00.

Cy-Woods Physicals

Cy Woods Physicals Saturday April 30th 1pm-3pm $20 Cash Only In the Performance Gym All grade levels and any club/organizations are welcomed. All CFISD athletic forms must be turned in prior to the physical. For any questions, stop by the athletic training room.

ACT Test/Rescheduled

The ACT scheduled for April 19th has been rescheduled to May 17th. We will be on an alternate bell schedule that day to accommodate ACT Testing.

Late Arrival-early Release

Late Arrival-Early Release forms are available in the Counselors' office. Students who qualify should have a completed form turned in by May 20th. Please see the Counselors' office for more information.

Summer School Registration

Summer School Registration has begun. Registration for original credit summer school courses ends May 16th. Please see the Counselors' office for more information.

Tennis Tryouts

Tryouts for the Tennis team will be Thursday, May 19, from 2:45-3:45 at the Cy-Woods tennis courts. You must have a physical on file to tryout. Looking forward to seeing you all at the courts.
