Cypress Woods Theatre Company Once Act Play Festival

Make plans to attend the Cypress Woods Theatre Company Once Act Play Festival on Tuesday, March 28th! The festival will be presenting the following plays: Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller at 4 PM; Lucy in the Sky by Tony Layton at 5 PM; The Children's Hour by Lillian Hellman at 6 PM; Something Rotten in the State of Denmark by William Shakespeare and Joseph Wallace at 7 PM; our award winning UIL One Act Play Participant, Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco at 8 PM. Each show runs 40 minutes and the evening will conclude with an awards ceremony. This is a free event and will take place in the auditorium. See you there!.

Firefighter Training

Attention all Juniors! Are you interested in being a firefighter! You can earn five high school credits AND train to be a firefighter at the same time! There is a mandatory meeting at Lonestar College on Friday, March 24th at 6:00pm for anyone interested. Please see Ms. Armstrong in the counseling office for more information.

Project Linus

Come to Project Linus this Friday, March 24th, in room 2209. Help us make blankets for the kids in the pediatric center.

Class Officer for Next School Year Information

If you are interested in becoming a Class Officer for next school year, please complete the application on the S drive in the Cy Woods StuCo folder. Applications are due Monday, March 27 to Mr. Self. The Class elections will begin April 5.

Chaos On The Court

Attention Seniors! Chaos on the Court sign-ups are THIS FRIDAY after school in Mr. Self's room! Positions will be awarded on a first come first serve basis, so get there quickly to ensure your spot! Be sure to bring your $5 sign up fee to pay for your T-Shirt.

Scholarship News

Attention future educators! The Gray Lodge scholarship for education majors is due. Please submit your application and supporting documents to Mrs. Graves by 2:40pm tomorrow. The iGoPink scholarship is available to graduating seniors who have an immediate family relative who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is April 1st. Vinson & Elkins Attorneys at Law will award a $10,000 scholarship to graduating minority seniors who are interested in studying law or related field. Please see Mrs. Graves in the Registrar Office for complete details.
